Dark Rum Mojito

Ingredients

60ml Rumbaclaat Rum

A pinch of nutmeg, ground cloves & ground cinnamon

Brown sugar

Crushed ice

15ml Monin Winter Spice syrup

Sparkling water

Fresh mint

Lemon Slice


Method

  1. In a small saucer, mix the nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon with 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar. 
  2. Wet the rim of the glass and dip it into the brown sugar and coat it evenly. 
  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice. 
  4. In a shaker, add the Rumbaclaat rum, syrup, and some fresh mint leaves. 
  5. Gently muddle the leaves. Add cubes of ice and shake. 
  6. Strain into your chilled glass. 
  7. Garnish with 3 coffee beans or a toasted marshmallow.
